Iceland Travel Journal
In the summer of 2019, my friend and IÂ traveled to Iceland on a spur-of-the-moment trip. We decided to travel to the first country that we could find cheap plane tickets to. That country happened to be Iceland. A couple months later, we were traveling around Iceland's Ring Road, living out of our tiny rental car and exploring the land under the Midnight Sun. While there, I kept a journal and documented every day of our journey. I am now taking that original diary and creating a complete, illustrated travel journal that includes sketches, paintings and found objects. The journal will include the text from the original diary and contain travel tips and stories from my own experience in Iceland. The book will have a personal, worn-down aesthetic and feel like the genuine journal that was there with me every step of the way in the Land of Fire and Ice.
THE JAR OF NAMES

The Jar of Names is a fully illustrated children's book that tells the story of Vincent, a young boy who goes on a quest to find the magic Jar of Names which contains the name of every child who will ever exist. An evil scientist has stolen the Jar from the storks who protect it, and she has been taking names from the Jar until almost all of the children in the world have disappeared. Vincent, with the help of the storks, must retrieve that Jar and find somewhere where it will be safe forever...
